Sharing the Responsibility of Accessibility (presentation link)

Collaboration is the key component in our efforts to proactively support the needs of all learners. As the Framingham State University population grows and diversifies and our adoption of multimodal content delivery and pedagogies increases, the challenge to ensure access for all becomes a shared responsibility for all campus members. Come hear the story of collaboration between FSU's Center for Academic Support & Advising and the Education Technology Office. This interactive presentation will share the upcoming changes to our campus landscape, discuss our broad definition of accessibility, and detail our collaborative strategies for proactive support for staff, faculty, and students. Bring an Internet-ready device for maximum participation!   Outcomes: Learn about strategies to promote a shared sense of responsibility for accessibility on campus. Contribute to a broad definition of accessibility by sharing examples from your campus.
